1. Publication Ethics

Cambridge Journal Press follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We maintain the highest standards of integrity in scholarly publishing and expect the same from our authors, reviewers, and editors.

2. Authorship & Responsibilities

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study.

  • Plagiarism in all its forms is strictly prohibited.
  • Data falsification and fabrication are considered serious misconduct.
  • Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest.

3. Peer Review Process

Our peer review process is designed to ensure the quality and validity of the research we publish. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback while maintaining the confidentiality of the manuscript.

  • Double-blind peer review is our standard for most journals.
  • Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased review process.
  • Confidentiality must be maintained throughout the entire workflow.

4. Redundant Publication

Authors should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently is unethical.

5. Animal & Human Rights

Research involving human subjects, human material, or human data must have been performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and must have been approved by an appropriate ethics committee.

6. Handling Misconduct

In cases of suspected or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication, or plagiarism, the publisher, in close collaboration with the editors, will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and to amend the article in question.

7. Retractions & Corrections

Cambridge Journal Press is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. We will issue corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern as necessary when errors or ethical issues are identified post-publication.
